Pictures from Elder Eakle in Comodoro Rivadavia Argentina

My youngest son, Tyler, went to the MTC to prepare for his mission to Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina on May 21, 2014. We received our mission call to San Juan, Puerto Rico on May 12, 2014. We began out training at the MTC on June 9, 2014 and left for Puerto Rico on June 23rd. Because of a delayed flight, we actually didn't arrive until 4:30 am on June 24th after leaving at 4:30 am on June 23rd. Tyler left for Argentina on June 31st.

Anyway, serving a mission while Tyler is gone has helped me not fret about him so much although I still look forward to the Monday emails as much as any missionary mom. I am posting some of the pictures we have received from him.

His first area was Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, located at the tip of Argentina in Tierra del Fuego. His second area was El Calafate, a very small town by Lago Argentina and near the Glacier Park and El Chaltan. Now he is in the largest city in the mission, Comodoro Rivadavia.
